Les Saintes / Iles des Saintes Weddings
French law applies to all non-residents who wish to be married in Les Saintes / Iles des Saintes. The requirements are fairly complex. A legal marriage requires a civil ceremony, which may then be followed by a religious or other ceremony if the couple wishes. As a result, couples often choose to be legally married elsewhere, then follow up with an unofficial wedding ceremony, reception and/or celebration on the island.
